COSPLAY 101: INTRO TO COSPLAY

We're running our first cosplay class. Join us for a presentation and discussion about the world of cosplay. We would like to help you discover how to go about making your character come to life. How to get started creating the costume, how to pick out wigs, and what alternatives you can do if you can't sew.
Whether you're new or experienced, this session covers cosplay basics and connects you with fellow cosplay lovers. Remember to bring a pic of your desired character - we'll walk you through how to get started with your character in this class. |
IMPORTANT: For the eva foam class, you must be 16 years or older. During the demo, we will be working with a dremel, adhesive glue, paints, and heat gun. Eva foam when it is heated released fumes. We will have sharp tools used during this class. We want to keep everyone safe. We will provide those attending with R95 masks. Teens must have their parents written approval to attend this class and everyone who attends will be required to fill out a wavier form.

Join us for demo session on prop making with EVA foam! We'll cover the basics of crafting props using this beginner-friendly material. What tools are used. Learn how to shape, cut, and assemble EVA foam to bring your favorite props to life. We will go over painting techniques and how to crate damage on your props as well. Whether you're a beginner or want to improve your skills, this demo is for you!
Bring a photo of the prop you want to make, and we'll discuss personalized tips during the session. Let's turn your prop-making ideas into reality together! |

Will you offer more cosplay workshops? |
If things go smoothly, we'll be introducing additional workshops next month, offering open sessions for students to work on their personal projects with instructor guidance. We're also planning specialized workshops, covering topics like crafting a gauntlet from EVA foam, painting EVA foam armor with battle damage effects, wig styling techniques, and distressing and aging costume materials.
